Cycling Seoul's Han River: Part 2

Schoolgirls pass through a labyrinth in the middle of the J-Bug Complex.

Most Koreans don't like to catch a tan, so on hot days you'll find many of them sitting in the shade. Even on beaches people tend to bathe in their clothes, or under parasols.

We explored a crowded flea market nearby.

Onlookers sit on the banks of the Han. You can see the Olympic Stadium on the other side of the river.

Soon we were back on our bikes, heading east through Hangang Park.

Looking through these photos reminds me what a wonderful cycle we had. It was great seeing the city via such tranquil, uncongested routes. Yet we only saw a small portion of the Han River, and there are dozens of other streams and cycle paths for us to see. Hopefully we'll find the time to do a lot more cycling while we're here!
